Eunsol Kim solo exhibition at Gallery MEME in Seoul

The korean media artist Eunsol Kim deals with the temperature difference between the fear and anxiety of people who have experienced a disaster and the sense of complacency of those who have never experienced a disaster.

Rather than recreating the overwhelming fear and intimidation of the images of disaster, she proposes a new empathic experience by auralising the data in data sonification01. In a space where disaster data is replaced by light and sound, it guides the audience can experience a new form of disaster.

Data Sonification refers to the transformation of data into sound and its representation in the form of soundscapes.
